I AM

In the Hebrew scripture, when God refers to himself, he employs the term “I AM who I AM.” Later in the New Testament, Jesus (Jeshua) whose name is literally: “I AM who I AM who saves” makes several important statements that begin with “I AM.” This series is an exploration of these statements from the ontological perspective.

Understanding God’s identity, being, essence, and existence is absolutely vital if we are to understand ours. In fact without both the discovery of God’s ontological framework, there is no discovery of ours. John Calvin said the discovery of God and the discovery of ourselves are the same pursuit. Not that we are God, but that we are absolutely nothing apart from God.

If you are ready to truly learn something, and grow in your faith, this series will help free you from a dead objective, perfunctory religion, and into a subjective experience with the living God, who exists in and as our existence.
