Trying to capture all that glimpses of what goes into my practices takes more time than I thought. In part two we look at how breath, wind or Spirit is a grounding principle and how I use it to initiate the flow of displacement within my life. I explore the dangers of getting the flow in the wrong direction and how to bring others and our larger concerns of the world into this dynamic exchange.
Have you ever pleaded with God for bodily healing and your prayer went unanswered?”
Nothing produces more unbelief than unanswered prayers, especially those for bodily healing. The disposition of the heart which arises from unbelief turns us into the Veruca Salt which demands her father grant her every request immediately.
In today’s podcast and post, I will explain why if we are asking for bodily healing, why it may not come right away. Staying in faith is not a cop-out, but the only way to gain the necessary precondition for transformative healing.
Join me now as we see beyond what we thought was the unanswered prayer.
“What is your biggest distraction?”
Most of us intuitively view distractions as derailments. They are a shift of focus from a more import object to a less important object. I think we all get this at a basic level.
In today’s podcast and post I will take us deeper beyond the objects of distraction, and show why changing our focus doesn’t always solve the problem.
Join me now as we learn to see beyond the objects of our distraction and gain a glimpse of the single subject that exists just below the surface of everything.
“Do you have a fake I.D. ? Do you have an alias?
In today’s broadcast I offer a simple quiz to see if we are living with a fake I.D. I also show just how pervasive the false self is within our lives and religion as well as social sciences are on a quest to our true self.
Join me now as we take a bunch of psychobabble and quickly turn it on its head as we see beyond our pseudonym and learn what ultimately happens to everything false.
None of us can live better than we think. This is a way of framing up the great reality of how our consciousness relates to life. Consciousness is related to everyone else and so much more, but we forget about this. In this podcast and post I will use the illustration of driving to help us see the unseen reality behind consciousness. Now some religious people will view this post as not very spiritual, but I will reveal how spirituality does not go beyond this fundamental reality. Consciousness has everything to do with God and it mirrors the flow of God and I will expose the biggest adversary in all of our lives: certainty. If life is not what you want it to be, examine those areas where you are certain and become a student again.
In part three of this series we examine a story that depicts a vast rift between Heaven and Hell called the great chasm. In this podcast and post I will show that this is not a geological feature of a literal Hell, but an aspect of separation within the heart. Furthermore, we discover that the chasm reveals the potentiation of seemingly small things and proves they are actually really big things. I show how all of religion tries to address this problem and I break down the solution to its most basic form that each of us can apply.
In the conclusion of this series, we take a look at the highest (known) level of consciousness. In this post and podcast we will learn three very important lessons on our way to high consciousness and guess what, it is not limited to those with high IQ’s. In fact, as you will learn, the integral stage is within all of our grasp. And if that is true, then so is a united world.
All of the things we enjoy are loaded with frustration, headwinds, disappointments, and expense. Have you ever got to the place where you wondered, “What is the point of all of this?” If so, then this podcast is for you. I will explore both the lower and the higher motivations that keep us coming back for more. If we lose sight or have never been able to identify our higher motivation, then our pursuits will bog us down, distract us, and even depress us. But if we can keep an eye on the wide-angle lens, then our pursuits enroll us into a form of spiritual satisfaction, and that is a gateway into a very fulfilling life.
